• Home Telecom WiFi Access is a public WiFi network. This means that it is also an open network. If you have file sharing enabled on your computing system, others using Home Telecom WiFi Access will be able to retrieve and use those files.
• Any use of the network to download/share material that is protected by federal copyright law is prohibited and will result in the termination of your use privileges on the network.
• Home Telecom is not responsible for Internet cookies or viruses that are transferred to your computing device as a result of using Home Telecom WiFi Access. Home Telecom promises that it will not collect any data from individual wireless users and users have the option to disable Internet cookies at any time. Network reports are used solely for management and optimization of the network.
• Internet cookies are parcels of text sent by a server to a Web client (usually a browser) and then sent back unchanged by the client each time it accesses that server. HTTP cookies are used for authenticating, session tracking (state maintenance), and maintaining specific information about users, such as site preferences or the contents of their electronic shopping carts. In short, cookies are simple pieces of data that affect the operation of a web server, not the client, and do so in very specific ways.
